Pupil Dialation - How Long For You?

Howdy All,

Been reading quite a bit and now I will post. I played with Molly 7 days ago and since then , my eyes have been dialating off and on for the past week. Today at work someone mentioned something and I looked in the mirror , they were half dialated. I know the Molly is out of my system but now am quite concerned with the eye dialation. I can understand the next day but 1 week after? Any thoughts?
 
Whatever it is, it isn't from MDMA. MDMA, like other stimulants releases Norepinephrine, which causes your pupils to dilate through the alpha1 receptors. The more Norepinephrine released, the more pupil dilation. Added to that, MDMA is only in your system for a brief period of time, and has a very short half-life (like most recreational drugs), meaning that MDMA is not the cause.

HOWEVER, other things can cause pupil dilation, pretty much whatever releases Norepinephrine. When you're scared, and have a natural "fight or flight" reaction, you release Norepinephrine (Picture a jaguar in the jungle, looking out for pray. They'd want their eyes to be as wide as possible to focus in on anything).

After taking MDMA, my pupils stay dilated for roughly 6 hours after my comedown (but I'm usually asleep).
 
Yeah dude. Your eyes dilate depending on what kinda lighting you have in the room, the darker it is the bigger they are.
Also the thing with Norepinephrine, the body's fight or flight response
 
Thanks for the replies. I never realized to look at my pupils until I met Molly. Call me a n00b I guess. Got some 5-HTP and ready for another visit in about a month . Lots of quality shows coming up in San Diego :)
 
Arousal and lighting can determine pupil size.

Have you ever "gotten off" and then looked at your eyes in the mirror immediately? The pupil's will be biiig. lol

And as someone mentioned in a previous post, dark lighting causes them to dialate because the pupil is where the light enters so you can see better.
 
my pupils stay huge for the entire next day after MDMA but that's it so yeah, I doubt it's the MDMA

Maby your pills have lots of meth.
Taking a great mdma/meth/ket pill in the afternoon, my pupils are big the next morning when I get up(not that I can ever sleep after taking any kind of amp after noon ish though).

Just mdma, ~7 hours, maby.
 
I once had my pupils basically stuck on full dilate after some serious MDMA abuse. I even had to get some shades to wear and turn down my monitor as it lasted a few days...
