but it never does
it merely hides
until they leave
it stays inside

oh so fake
and brush aside
their petty mistake

but this is the punishment
you both deserve
for hurting yourselves
is how this occured

so when they're gone
its in your face
the shame and guilt
you cant erase

and after they've left
they still feel mamed
but you dont see it
and shouldnt be blamed

so no matter your feelings
dont think you're alone
we all suffer secretly
it just isnt shown


three people i know are very saddened by very different issues, but their feelings are very similiar....i am one of those three people and i set out to write this about myself and how i deserve to feel what i feel as punishment for the mistakes i make, but it took a turn that i wasnt expecting and now conveys a message that i was missing....hope you enjoyed..
