Psytrance parties - fashion?

^^^ What would you know? You have crap taste in footwear anyway.

@cream gravy: sounds cool, i have a shirt with the face of a wolf on it and it's made up of little fractals. i wear it so often it's practically see-through now.

My normal trips are out and about in a normal day so I actually go through my whole morning routine. So when I leave my house (i live in a medium sized city now) I am beard trimmed and neatly shaved, that process takes about 45 mins in of itself, then I cut and file my nails put on what I consider my nice casual outfit and go about the city. I do all of that because the main goal is to be the absolute last person you would suspect to be tripping; pea coat, nice fitting new black jeans, a new sweat shirt under the coat, newish sneakers and normal nice casual appearance, at least the past few months as its been winter.

The reason i dress like that is because like i said i go around the city, ride the bus, etc so its nice looking well in public. Couple that with you never know whats going to happen so if i have a police encounter i will pass a first glance as "not on drugs" based on my dress.

If its an event or I plan on being comfortable I have a several rick and morty tee shirts as well as a zip hoodie that I will normally wear. Love that show and the clothing garners a lot of attention at fests considering its nothing special. I prefer to be toned down though I have tye dyes but those are blue purple and green, not too keen on bright vibrant colors. I love looking at them I am just not a loudly dressed person so I would feel odd in them I guess

anonymity is the best disguise!

i live around rednecks so i wear a camo hat - bang! instant normal joe. they're actually kinda trippy tho, and i like looking like a pile of sticks and leaves and crap.

I have this old t-shirt from middle school (yeah, I haven't grown in a decade lol) that's from a competition called 'Future City', its got this 70s retro sci-fi style image of a city on it and is otherwise just a plain white shirt. Love wearing it out while tripping, people are always perplexed by it for some reason hahahahah

Ha, I had a similar thing. I bought a print t-shirt from a high street store which had some kind of vague reference to utopia and a sort of abstract drawing of some kind of futuristic city. I had 2-3 people approach me over the course of a weekend to ask where I bought my t-shirt. Think they were a bit surprised when I was like "ermmm... Next in Newcastle?".

IMO a lot of the well known psy-trance clothing brands are very cliché and a bit naff/cheesy. Some people can pull some of the stuff off... but less is more IMO. It tends to look a bit cheep and shit.

If you look at a lot of the hot psy trance girls at festivals/parties or on instagram etc, they tend to be wearing just pretty basic, well fitting earthy coloured clothing etc, with loads of random accessories to add a kind of unique style.

One of my friends always has the cool hippie girl look nailed and I know for a fact that one of her favourite shops is Topshop, which is a major UK high street store.

^There are some really cool home made psy-trance/hippie accessories here imo. Throw in a decent skirt/top and some half-dreads and you're sorted.

Oh and I love LOTR as much as the next man, but please, lay off the fucking elf ears people. =D
