It's interesting to note not only what they've found..... but just *how* they're going about gathering information, and *who/what* that information is meant to be shared with.
While the broad intent is harm-reduction and treatment, the information can cut both ways. Conspiracy-theorists could have a ball with this one. 8)

What's scary...... is that the report is correct. This projects' assessment of the growing RC market and the hazards associated with RC drug use, are quite applicable to the US market as well.
We don't know what we're playing with in using RCs, and neither does the government/medical side. But human-nature alone makes that a moot point. People are going to always find ways to take excursions inward...... especially since we don't have stuff like personal spacecraft, teleporters, magic wands, and cybernetic telepathy..... yet. 8)
Making things difficult, with flurries of bans come storms of new chems seeking to circumvent the law.
It's becoming nearly impossible for just a few people to keep track anymore (I know, I've been trying![:\](https://bluelight.org/xf/BL_Images/Orig_Emoji/wrygrin.gif "wry grin :\")
)... so gov/university sites and studies are becoming crucial for their ability to trickle down the most pertinent safety information to those of us who are still active psychonauts and not just dabblers.....
As with any powerful intoxicant, it's the folks along for a joy-bang that usually end up in trouble first.... and they're going to be understandably reluctant to seek medical attention if things go bad.
That means it's usually a fellow & more experienced drug user who is, by default, a medical first-responder; and is in the best position to either help.... or harm..... the poor bastards.
Bad information can be just as dangerous as a hot shot.
And in an overdose/unknown substance emergency..... it doesn't matter where the information comes from, as long as it's solid, safe, and it helps the professionals save a life.
