I've taken 14 different courses in psychology thats how obsessed I am with it.
I'm allowed to take 2 electives this semester with my internship and they're both psych classes. I've taken evolutionary psych, statistical psych, abnormal psych, research methods, social psych, life span development psych, intro to psych, history of psych, adolescent psych, clinical psych, senior thesis in psych, blah blah blah I can't remember the rest.
I think out of all of them evolutionary psych was the best. Than social psych second, and abnormal psych third. Than statistical psych last. Evolutionary psych is CRAZY especially if you have a good professor like I did. I learned more about psychology in that class than any other class I had. You really learn how our brains have evolved and adapted over time, and it helps really explain why we are the way we are today.
We went over some real crazy topics in that class things that prob wouldn't even be accepted here, like the many "functions" of rape, and all sorts of other violent behavoir like murder and suicide. Its weird to see how functional suicide is from a larger perspective, as it really just weeds out "weaker" genes.
