You say you aren't trying to score, but finish your post with "I am trying to get a script for benzos but I definitely do have anxiety."
Sounds like you are trying to score to me. IF you do indeed have legitimate anxiety issues, then you need to be honest with the doctor. Going there and lying just so you can get some benzos is completely counter productive and does nothing to actually help towards resolving the underlying issues of WHY you have anxiety.
Most doctors don't just start you off on benzos; there are many other less addictive pharmaceuticals out there that they will most likely try first. Personally, it wasn't until 3 visits later that my doctor finally started me on klonopin.
I have had anxiety problems since I was 15, and before getting put on benzos I had tried other medications, as well as other non pill treatments such as therapy, CBT, breathing techniques, etc, until the conclusion was met that benzos were the most effective. I was aware of the potential addictive nature, but my anxiety can be so bad that the trade off is favorable in my case. I have been on them for 7 years and getting off them is a bitch. The withdrawals are much more difficult to handle for me than heroin withdrawals.
You can rationalize in your head all that you want, but you seem young, you seem like you like to experiment, and most likely have an addictive personality. Coupled with the fact that it seems like you just want to go to the doctor to score benzos, and aren't putting your desire to understand and cope with the underlyign psychological reasons/causes to your anxiety first, benzos may not be the best choice for you.
Furthermore, it is specifically stated in the rules that we aren't here to tell you what to say to your doctor in order to obtain certain prescriptions.
