Psychedelics + JWH-xxx...(the psychedelic explosion technique)

Hey PD,

Over my last 3 or 4 trips, I have found that JWH-xxx chemicals potentiate psychedelics to an unfounded degree, especially in comparison to good ole' THC. From my last two 25i-NBOMe trips and LSD trips, as well as my experiences with MXE, I have found that upon reaching my plateau with these chemicals, smoking JWH chems completely blasts me into ridiculous trip mode. Anybody else have a similar phenomena? To me, the visual effects become so prominent, it's almost scary. It's as if I'm in the show 'Chowder', where everything moves across it's own background and I'm staring past the context of what the actual colour is part of. It's ridiculous, and I love it!
 
Some of the JWH chemicals, e.g. -018 and -250 seem to act similar to dissociatives when taken in above minimal doses. Psychedelics and dissociatives have always been a potent mix, so this definitely makes sense.

Personally - but don't take this as fact, I think THC itself is partly dissociative in it's action, whereas CBD is not, and this is why strong sativas can be very trippy, particularly to beginners. I've had a couple of out of body experiences myself where I was simply smoking strong sativas when I was new to weed. It would also explain why there are so many people who claim they smoked laced weed - even when others smoking the same weed suffered none of the same negative effects.

As for why THC doesn't seem to potentiate your trips, CBD seems to modulate it somewhat, so smoking indicas and hybrids shouldn't send your mind spiralling off in another direction - plus, THC is, by weight, a lot weaker than most of the JWH chemicals, so you'd have to have a significantly low tolerance or smoke a lot at once to hit these effects.
 
Smoking AM-2201 and AM-694 in a blend on aMT has produced some of the strongest and most profound emotional feelings that I have ever achieved. Very much a way to get life changing / spirtual experiances. I could see people being over powered by it but definatley an exellent combination and the fact that my blend only lasted 1 hour makes bad trips a lot less likely as you know its all over within an hour, insane body high as well as I was already on an eitzolam from before I dropped my aMT and it was one of the strongest experiances I have had to date even with double the dose of aMT. Definatley reccomend this and the blend I had was called HAZE and is going around a few RC shops online.

EDIT: One more thing, definatley if you do not have a high tolerance to normal grass, stick with the real deal. I can see why synth THC sounds horrible while tripping but i thought of it as more humorous, that it was a very me thing, to be tripping balls on some aMT and pull out 'fake' mj and start smoking it in a bong raving about how great it was ha.

the same thing happens for me with marijuana. i don;t understand why you think this is so remarkable and all, of course it will potentiate your trip...i don't like synthetic THC that much though, it feels rather unnatural
 
2c-e + JWH-073 is one of my favorite drug combos ever, the synesthesia and visuals were crazy. JWH-018 not as great, anyway I'd be careful with synthetic cannabinoids, they're not so benign as some like to think (well they really exacerbated my GI issues when I was using them frequently. My experience lies with the naphthoylindole 'noids).
 
JWH-210 and AM-2201 are the ones in which I'm mostly referring to in this situation. smoking weed and tripping is of course incredibly synergetic, and they both compliment eachother extremely well. However, these synthetic cannabinoids send my trips into full-on bezerker mode. It intensifies much more than it potentiates.
 
Those two (along with the two I mentioned) would all fall under the naphthoylindole family of synthetic cannibanoids. JWH-250 is a phenacetylindole, AM-694 a benzoylindole (covering the things mentioned thus far in here). It may be productive if we were to compare them as classes and see if any generalizations could be found within them.

Chhhh try toking some JWH's before hoovering up some DPT or smoking some DMT whilst on psychedelics, now thats a psychedelic explosion. Even THC+DPT/DMT on psychedelics is intense as is. To bad 018 is gone though, I agree with what JG said, 018 was surely diss. like in high doses and when you blast off on around 30 mgs of 018 with an alright tolerance, some wonky things can take place for a few moments. Getting it to blend right was hard as it seemed to happen near specific doses and when done in certain amounts of time. Careful though, the above combo has godlike power, so watch it!;)
