Psilocybin causing throat irritation?

Wondering if anyone had issues with Psilocybin causing throat irritation? I can't remember if I woke up with a sore throat, don't think I did. But I got out of bed and began to work. In the process of scaling out a pound of shrooms a lot of dust kinda was flying around the air. Anyone know if I should be wearing a dust mask when doing this? Throat irritation normal? I've done em without these symptoms, just wondering why the dust is bothering me so much.

Probably a coincidence. What is this dust you are talking about? When you were harvesting the shrooms?

There fresh, I just choose to grind down the mushroom material. 100% easier on my stomach and my friends. At first its skeptical of course. You think of people cutting it. But you realize theres no weird taste, smell or appearance and its the same just a fuck ton easier on the stomach.

You probably inhaled some mushroom spores and that's what irritated your throat. I'm no expert, but I think that's what could of had happened.

Drying them first would make it easier, as would making a tea. IDK about your throat problems or the dust though. You may be slightly allergic to the spores. Have you tried taking an antihistamine?

Well, I've been breathing in mushroom dust all day to be honest, its on my hands 24/7 at this point and I decided to take an eighth. Needless to say I'm trippin balls. But thinkin about how exposed I was too it and how potent these are
