You see it all started innocently..I wanted to have a third plateau DXM experience. Well, I guess on the bright side, I did. What I didn't know till I felt like I was dying...was I picked up the wrong cough medicine. I wanted CVS Tussin Maximum Strength Cough. Instead I got cough and cold. So down the hatch went
z of hell. I injested roughly 1500 milligrams of pesudoephedrine, and it's caused me hell since. It has been 7 days since that night, and my heart still hasn't recovered. It's been beating chronically fast. Prior to the incident, it averaged 70BPM. Now, I goto my local Kmart everyday to check it, and it never falls below 100. It averages around 104. Thankfully, my blood pressure is normal. I also have the misfortune of not having health insurance. So, I guess I have to wait it out and see if my heart calms down in time. Let me tell you, it's not fun to have a fast beating heart. I get out of breath a lot, I can't sleep in certain positions, I can't do any kind of physical activity without it going crazy!! This is my warning to all of you, read before you injest. Stear clear of pseudoephedrine. I also welcome any medical advice you have (hoping someone is a doctor). I have no idea why my heart beats at over 100BPM all the time..after a week...Well, peace, and be safe.
