no you have not failed. Please believe me, things happen for a reason. We will all be ok. So many good things have come from this weekend, I have met some of the best people in the world and I will never forget this weekend. You have not failed, you helped in times of need. You are my friend and I will not let you think this way. It was great to get to know you and to spend so much time together.

They were not *your* people. They were *our* people, and if you think that all the time and effort we put into helping them is a failure, then friend, you have to rethink your definition of help. It would have happened, weather you objected to the event or not. Just be glad we could do for them what we did. And be grateful that we all love each other and would come together like we did in our graetest time of need.
