Properly re-dosing LSD

I've got some pretty potent stuff this time. Double sided supposedly 150-250ug tabs. I seem to be rather sensitive to acid and get pretty fucked up when I touch the stronger stuff. I mean full dream land style (don't even know if I exist). And I've had some bad trips too...

I don't wanna jump in it this time like I usually do, so I'll only take half of the tab and re-dose later depending on how I feel. What would be the proper way to do this? Is it pointless to re-dose after the peak? How many hours should I wait approximately after the first half?

EDIT: I wanna get higher when I re-dose, not extend the trip. But would I be able to extend it as well? Say I've tripped for like 7 hours on the first tab, would taking another one extend the duration as much as it normally would? Or is tolerance a factor?

It's been awhile since I've done acid but with shrooms it works to take a little bit to gague the strength then take the rest once it starts to kick in. I prefer to do it that way because it results in a more gradual/comfortable transition.

IIRC redosing after you start to come down never works out well. It only works before you peak.

Take a half hit and then redose just as the peak starts if you're not going strong enough imo. It won't be quite as strong as dosing the entire hit at once, which may be rather weak if the hits don't work out as strong as you've been told they are - but it sounds like you really want to avoid being overwhelmed, so it's much better than just attempting to take a whole hit or more at once.

Then if it's too weak/too strong/just right you know how much to dose next time if you have more left over :D

Dosing 7 hours in probably won't do much, at the very best it'll be incredibly ineffective.

tolerance starts to become a factor as soon as LSD molecules start binding to your serotonin receptors, i believe. i prefer to take my entire dose at once, but in your case, i would say to eat the 2nd half hit within 2 hours

No, you could take a 600mics after 7 hours and not feel anything at all. Best taking it all at once, if you're lucky you might have a 2 hour window after your first drop but I'm not even convinced by that.

Tough question. I find that if I want to add to an LSD trip, it has to be done in the first 1.5 hours or it doesn't add as effectively. I don't know the scientific reason for this. I've had times where I felt the trip was weak after an hour, so I took more, only to have the first dose fully kick in and realize I just screwed myself.

If you have enough supply, then IMO you should do a tame dose to start in order to fully gauge how strong this batch is, then go harder next time when you have more info. Also, smoking weed before you even take the acid will take some of the harsher edges off of it if you *have* taken too much.
