promethazine + seizures?

ok so i plan on taking on taking 30mgs addy IR in the morning with 1-2mgs xanax....and then for the comedown at afternoon/night i was planning to take another 1-2mgs xanax with 25mgs promethazine and 30mgs oxy...will this cause a seizure? or am i just sketching a lil? ive never heard of prometh causing seizures before but i looking it up and apparently Phenothiazine antiemetics (prometh is an anti-histamine and a phen. anti.) can cause seizures?

how much does tramadol lower you threshold compared to prometh? like is it just like an oxy which doesnt lower the threshold that much? ive had a seizure before from 250mgs tramadol + alcohol and weed so i don't want ot hav another one.

i orginally though i would be fine with the combo im going to take soon and i think i will be because i dont think they lower the threshold that much....i kno xanax lowers seizure threshold but i heard its a shit anti-convulsant...hopefully i can find some kpin but idk ...what u guys think?
 
Antihistamines are on my list of drugs that may lower seizure threshold (at the bottom under other) but I don't know anything about promethezine specifically. Am a little tired now to look it up but if you are concerned, trust your instincts and research it a little further.. is not worth risking it really.

Quick note - xanax actually raises the seizure threshold (this means making it less likely you will have a seizure as you said) - drugs that make seizures more likely lower the threshold.

Benzos in general are protective but you are right, xanax isn't as good as some of the others, and I would hazard a guess that it has a shorter half life than the promethezine (don't now though)

It doesn't sound like a hugely risky combo to me but every individual has a differet seizure theshold and if you've read something about promethezine that makes you feel uneasy, best leave it out...
