Opioids Promethazine dosage with codeine

Hey,

Yesterday I took 300mg of codeine with 150mg of promethazine.

I took the half of promethazine because of the composition of the famous cough syrup we can find in the US.

if you can't read : 5mL = 10mg codeine phosphate and 6,25mg promethazine

Is it a good dosage ? Or is it too much ?

Here in the UK we get Codeine Linctus which contains nothing but codeine as its active ingredient, a 200ml bottle contains 600mg codeine. It sells OTC but is hard to find, only the small independent pharmacies sell it...

I usually take 400mg (two thirds of a bottle), and potentiate with GFJ & promethazine (also available here OTC)

150mg of promethazine is too much tho, especially if your syrup already contains it..

when I do use it I go no higher than about 50-70mg....thats enough for potentiation. Because your prep already contains promethazine, you probably won't need to add any more.

Stick with GFJ, cemitedine & perhaps some cannabis. glug it back & enjoy.

If you have any sort of tolerance, you will not get high from that mixture because there will be too much promethazine in it and you will become delirious.

I'm in France so I can buy Codeine OTC and Promethazine too.
I didn't know the dosage of codeine in comparison of the prometh so I took this syrup as reference.
And I think I took too much promethazine. Since this morning I have difficulties to urinate.
