Prochlorperazine

OK, i found some of these pills that my mom was prescribed for a treatment that is no more. She's better now and so there is alot of leftover bottles (including lotsa vicodin).. I saw a bottle of pills that was labeled "Prochlorperazine, 10 mg. tablets". I've done a little research on these and had found out they have some sedative effects to them. Has anyone here heard about these and/or tried them?
