Procaine in pills

This is kind of a pointless question but I was just curious, why is procaine a semi popular cut in pills, I mean meth and pipes and stuff are obviously way more common cuts but I still see procaine present in numerous pills on ecstasy data...is it just something used as a filler or does it do something? I can't imagine it would because the dosages in pills would be so small...again I know this question is stupid but hey, I was curious if anybody had any good ideas.

Used as a filler, slight numbness effects on teeth/front of face at best. No "high" or euphoria... Dirtier high, a little shittier comedown maybe?

What would make you think that? Surely the amount of mgs used wouldnt be high enough to last the 4hours of the roll to then still be active to help with the comedown.

I think the immediate effect would be numbing of the mouth (people automatically think 'ooh coke' - maybe as it would act to relax the muscles - maybe its the amide that the pressers are looking at and how it may affect the reactions on Simons / Robadope (primary / secondary amine?).

Nobody really knows for sure though !
