Problems with Xanax dosing

Who else finds it difficult to dose Xanax to the point where strong effects are felt, but no blackout occurs? I find that it is incredibly difficult to dose Xanax correctly, and either dose an amount where no effects are felt, or dose too much and blackout. Clonazepam seems to never give me this problem. I do find that a benzo tolerance makes the dosing much easier, and I can dose large amounts of Xanax without blacking/passing out.

I think most people do. Or strong effects may be felt, but blacking out is really easy. It's just because it's so damn amnesic, that's all there is to it. Don't use Xanax recreationally (except in combination with other drugs) or you're liable to black out.
