i'm up the stairs to the right. you can't miss me
Last week I helped two "friends" procure some weed from a friend of mine. between the two of them, they bought a half ounce. i don't have a scale personally so there was a delivery time between when i left my dealers house and meeting them at my house. so they went back to their place and weighed everything out. i got a text soon after saying, "WHAT THE FUCK DUDE!!! I can't believe you'd fuckin shit us like this."

The whole package was short by a gram. My dealer shorted me a gram basically b/c he or she didn't know it wasn't for me. I suppose I'm supposed to be pissed off at this guy. I mean, i now wonder how many times he's shorted my bags.

Also, the buyers, my friends, were demanding satisfaction. Basically they were trying to get me to either give them money back or more weed, out of my own pocket. Of course they don't know what happened to the gram. They should know i didn't pinch their bags b/c i don't steal. I can buy my own weed and they know that i'm not like that.

It was very disrespectful. They should have been like, "Hey man, thanks for getting us the sacks, but they're short. You might want to be careful if u go back to that dealer." Not that, "I'm so pissed at YOU" shit when I went out of my way to do something illegal to get them a buzz for no profit or anything.

Do I stop going to this dealer? Do I stop hooking up my friends? Are these guys just straight idiots? Anyone ever experience anything similar and how did you deal with it?

If it where me Id make it right with weed outta my own pocket the first time it happened and then just warn your friends every time you go to get them weed from that particular person. Say they ask you if you can get any and you say well yeah dude has it but its the same guy who shorted you last time. So its up to them if they wanna take the chance of it being a little bit short or just wait until something else comes along. Id be more pissed at the dealer than the ppl who were rude to you though. I mean even if its just a G, Id be pissed and start talkin shit if I thought the middle man pinched my shit. In short Id pay them back the gram and then demand that your dealer gives a gram to make up for it. Even though its just a gram I wouldnt let that shit go.

I don't think you can talk about violence, man.

Talk to your dealer but if he says fuck off then don't mess with him anymore. If he gives you a gram then give it to them, but if not I don't think its your responsibility. The friendly thing to do would be smoke them out, maybe give them a little nug. If you don't really care about them then let them be pissed.

Were they expecting it to weigh 28.8? Cause I found that rare even with the most reputable sources. .8 is expected to be lost in the shuffle anyways. They sound like unappreciative friends. Good luck. Situationslike this totally suck.

Do you stop going to that dealer?

Depends on whether you have a problem with buying under weighed baggies each time you go there if so find anew dealer. Unless you say something and get yourself Some scales.

Do you stop hooking up for friends?

He'll yes especially if there going to act like that. This was simply not your fault like you said you went out of your way to do something for them they should be gratefull there's not much you can do if you don't have scales.

I've had this problem before with them complaining about the size. So when they asked for me to hook them up next time i simply just said no.

"hooking up" your friends is likely a felony where you live. another word for it is dealing drugs. the police do not care if you were doing as a favor, not for profit.

given the way your "friends" reacted, it seems that they also consider you more of a drug dealer than someone doing them a favor.

i'd stop hooking them up.

if i use a middleman, i halfway expect him to pinch a little. i figure it's his right since he went out of his way to get me shit

I'd let them find their own connects. And make their own trips. And take their own damn scales to their own damn dealers. And take their own risk of getting pinched with whatever they buy. Wtf? They have no reason to come at you with that kind of attitude.

You did them a favor. I usually consider it courtesy to give someone a portion of a large-ish buy out of consideration of the time and effort (and risk) they took to do me a service.

Their attitude is rude and unfounded. I would, however, bring it up with the dealer so that s/he knows that you'd rather your own sacks were exact.

Even though I've known him for many years and I rarely look at the scale any more, my guy weighs my buys in front of me every time. It's a good business practice.

Dude tell them too bad that's part of the business. Tell them if they want that one gram they can go over to the dealer's house and get it themselves. They only bought 14 grams, meaning they each got 6.5 grams instead of 7.

Definitely not something they should be getting worked up about.

28.34

but you'll never get the .3 on small deals

You friends obiously don't think very highly of you if they accuse you of stealing a gram. I Mean wtf is a gram seriously?

Nezt time they call you asking for a hookup, tell them you can get the ultimate chronic - but seeing as you likely to steal a gram you can't hook them up. (Thats the shit I say to ungrateful friends, or i'll bring like a half ounce out just to rub in the fact they can't get any.) DIck move I know, but so is accusing your friends of stealing a fucking GRAM.

I hate being accused of thievery. Especially by people that I have personally trusted or known for a while.
I'd do exactly as Newbierock says and tell them you wont be able to pick up for them anymore.

Also . . .fuck your dealer. Never buy from that shetbag again, as even though it's only a g, that just shows he/she is willing to rip you off. If they're willing to rip you off and you've bought from him/her for a while, I'd also say he/she is willing to get you rolled, if it came down to it. Don't deal with shady people.

I agree, sounds like bad friends. Really 1 gram? Oh no the words going to end...Those aren't friends.

if i hook someone up who isnt a close friend i always take my "delivery fee" of a few bongs worth.
i let them know before i go and get it and show them what i take.
for close friends though i dont charge "fees" =D

same here. he is never underweight and it is always dry and great product.
likewise, i rarely look at the scale when he weighs it in front of me.
