Stimulants Problems breathing while sleeping while coming off of meth

I've been binge smoking ice lately usually up for 2-4days. Now when I finally get to sleep my roommates keep having to wake me up because my breathing becomes very intense almost like I'm hyperventilating which is causing them and me great concern as it doesn't sound like I'm getting nearly enough oxygen. I also jerk and twitch a ton as well when I'm asleep but I'm not nearly as concerned about that. Has anyone else encountered a problem similar to this before? I'm actually getting scared to go to sleep

I used to do 2-4-6 days of puddle smoking followed by a couple days of sleep.
I get the jerking around and twitching. I did the same thing. Seemed to do with the insane meth dreams I was having and the drugs aftereffects.

The breathing thing is far more concerning. Are the shards pretty clean? Almost sounds like your lungs are having a bad reaction to the ice, but it doesn't really show itself until you lose consciousness. It's concerning. A allergic reaction maybe?
Obviously meth is generally pretty awful for your lungs, but this is not typical.
If you want to keep smoking that shit, which I would fully understand, I might try a different source. See if a different product that was perhaps cooked somewhat differently might knock out the breathing issue. Maybe, maybe, it's a bad reaction to something in the meth you're smoking now.
If you try a few different sources and it's still happening, I'd say knock that shit off. At least the marathons.
Take it from a longtime opiate addict... Struggling to breathe, not breathing is NOT a OK thing.

I guess you could perhaps just be panicking in your sleep. IOW's, you're having a horrendous meth dream, your mind's still kinda awake/alert and you're panicking. Do you ever remember your dreams? Do you have these kinds of dreams?
I used to have ones where I was in some horrible argument with someone and I'd wake myself by screaming out. Or I was being chased, attacked, and I'd wake myself because I was thrashing around, fighting.
I suppose something like that could cause panicked breathing.
How often during your sleep are you having these spells? Is it a ongoing thing during sleep or just occasional?

I'm not to sure about the nightmare theory solely because I can't remember any of my dreams. And this breathing problem seems to always occur if I stay up for more than one night in a row. The scariest thing for me about this is I would have no idea about it if it wasn't for my roommates. But yea whether I'm asleep for 10 minutes or a couple hours it's the same scenario

Hhmm.
I'd like to say, yeah it's probably nightmares, or something simple. But, it could very well be a consistent bad reaction or something like apnea that's perhaps being brought out/exacerbated by your drug use.
I would definitely try a product switch, if you're gonna keep going with the marathons. Just to see...

I don't know. I would tend to say that until you've got a handle on what's causing it you should probably abstain. But, I know how hard that is.
It's probably something that you should go talk to your doctor about(provided you got insurance.) Maybe even if not.
Start off telling them that you're having breathing issues while sleeping.
If you can get to the bottom of it by giving that much info and taking a test or two and you find you have a medical or allergic issue then that's a answer.
If he/she does ask if it's brought on by drug use, I'd tell the truth. They can't narc you out.
Like I mentioned before, obviously, breathing issues are nothing to fuck around with.
Keep us posted. I hope it's something as simple as nightmares.
It is a scary thing. And your roommates can't keep an eye on you all the time. Be careful with yourself.
