so before anyone says i am asking for tips on how to script i am not i am in legit pain but like to enjoy my medications. have an appointment with the foot doc over my left foot fracture. so anyway i went to another doc in the same practice as i was told to do cause this guy was a specialist. the first doc gave me forty percocet 5mg. i told the second doc about this and he said he would step me down to a vicodin or ultram but didnt cause i still had percs. here is my problem i know that when seeking medication never ask for a commonly abused medication. ie. when going for hydrocodone say lortab or norco instead of vicodin. i want nothing to do with the ultram and would rather have norco instead of vicodin for the obvious reason that Vicodin is 5/325 and norco is 10/325. i was thinking of a story like this to say to the doc, story 1) say what the other doc said about the vicodin (not gonna mention the ultram) and hope i get that. story 2) i was at my moms friends house who is an older woman she saw i was in immense pain and i told her what happened with my foot and said i am out of pain meds. tell the doc "she gave some pill i have never heard of called norco said it helped with her pain after breaking her wrist what are your opinions on this medication doctor cause after taking it it seemed just as effective as the percocet." again i would like to stress that i am in pain and not looking to get high. thanks.

This thread will get closed, you're pretty much trying to figure out the best approach to receive narcotic pain meds, it doesn't matter if you really need them for pain.......most pain med addicts started out like you, with a legit pain problem.

Anyways, its hard to tell you what to say because every doctor is different.

There are sympathetic doctors that will listen to you & prescribe you pain meds, & then there are ahole doctors that think because you're hurt I g, you can still perform.duties like healthy people, & they must be sadists, because they like seeing you in pain.......or are very scared of getting in trouble for over prescribing.

There are so many reasons.......

Stop posting threads about manipulating doctors in order to prescribe opioids. How long has it been since you hurt your foot, and your still having pain? Perhaps you truly are in pain but you're certainly seeking drugs to get high as well, you've made that very clear in your past threads. Once again I've gotta close this since we can't give you advice on what to tell your doctor in order to get meds.

I've already given you a warning for repeatedly posting these types of threads after being told not to (you've had 5 closed threads of this nature), looking through your post history you have been made aware of the fact that these threads are not allowed many times so I'm issuing an infraction.
