How long does it take for them to do the drug test? If you failed, how long would it take before you were notified/arrested whatever? I know it varies by state and county. I'm asking for your own personal experience, for a piece of fiction I'm working on.

If you know that it varies by state to state then why don't you use Google or call/email someone from the state to find out since you are writing a piece of fiction? Wouldn't you want to ask someone more reliable than random people on a drug forum?
