Hello. I am asking about self-medicating for PI-ADD because I plan to apply for a military college, and you cannot be on related medication for a year prior. I have always had troubles in school, and after seeing my doctor, she thought that I should definitely see a psychologist, because there were many symptoms pointing to ADD. However, after reading that it is very difficult to get a waiver to get into one of the academies such as Westpoint, I decided not to follow through. However, I am still having trouble in school, especially with lack of motivation, focus, and memory. I have begun a nootropic stack to help with focus and memory, but I feel that the lack of norepinephrine is a huge detriment to my education. Thus, I would like to ask if similarly suffering individuals on these forums have experience with using research chemicals therapeutically for such disorders. I have looked into using DMAA (I know it is not an RC) and a-PVP. These seem to be the best options in my case. Through erowid experience vaults I found a report of a-PVP being a huge help for one individual's ADHD, and through other forums I found that DMAA is also extremely helpful. I would like some input on whether these would work well as non controlled Adderall alternatives.

Self mediation with stimulants for ADD is a pretty bad idea, given that none of them have been clinically investigated as have e.g. amphetamine and methylphenidate, and dose control is much harder. In general drugs like apvp have only been used as euphoriants in the past. Also you have the small issue of purity... not every "reliable vendor" is reliable as claimed.

Also, if being on legitimate ADD drugs is an issue, I somehow don't think a cocktail of grey-market, unresearched chemicals is going to make it any easier for you.

Either way this board is not here for people to recommend you treatment plans. You need to talk to a real doctor if you feel ADD is causing problems with your schooling, not try to self-medicate.
