Prices of weed in the US/Canada plummeting since the slight changes in the law

Am i right in thinking this? I'm sure a few years back it was really expensive, they were paying like $400/oz or something stupid back when we were paying £120 130ish, but now all over the web i see that they're paying dirt cheap for medicinal quality or great quality homegrown etc. I presume this is due to the shift in the direction of the law over there in the past few years, and thats a fantastic thing.

Wish it would happen over here though! (As i'm sure you lot do too) If my memories more fucked than i thought and i've got it all wrong with the prices please let me know, it interests me!

So yeah, discuss you bunch of junkies ;) <3
 
Complain the the right Doctor about having pain in certain places, or you can't sleep (without it) etc. etc. then yeah, I can't imagine that there are dealers who "have legitimate health problems" getting their supply from them.

The only thing that's wrong with that assumption is that they're going to be paying both the amount that it's sold to them at the pharmacy and then making money from their purchase.
 
Yeah weed is really unexpensive in canada. A eight of the BEST quality will go you for 35-40 bucks. . I hate the abundance of badly grown m-39 though . It has some potential, as its skunk x northern lights, but people butch the growing process and it comes out horrible. No wonder its called pretendica.
 
Prce for weed & hash was stable for so long here in the UK, I thought it might never change! £15 an 8th was the going rate from the late 80's til, I dunno, 2003/4. Since then prices have crept up consistently, especially when dreadful silica sprayed shit was the alternative.

Would be very nice if an ounce could go back down to about £150, it's around the £200/£220 mark at the moment.

I ain't complaining too much though, the gears stunning at the moment too =D
 
Here in Seattle where herb is legal and so is hash the prices have gone down some but top quality product still brings in good prices. There is so much mid range quality available that its makes top quality still special. Hash has become much more available and is cheap compared to previously. Still though things have not changed much as you can go buy some nice bud for $10 a gram anywhere in the state. Dabbing has gotten HUGE here though, are you all dabbing in the UK yet?
 
MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay -- MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay (AP) — Uruguay's drug czar says the country plans to sell legal marijuana for $1 per gram, though he's given higher figures in the past.

A law already passed in the lower house of Congress and expected to pass in the Senate later this year would make Uruguay the first country in the world to license and enforce rules for the production, distribution and sale of marijuana for adult consumers.

The El Pais newspaper reported Sunday that drug chief Julio Calzada says marijuana sales should start in the second half of 2014 at a price of $1.

He says the idea isn't to make money, but to wrench the market away from illegal dealers. Calzada said in August that the price would be around $2.5 per gram.
