price of pot in Amsterdam?

pot is sold in cafes in amsterdam so ive heard. So im assuming it's very cheap there.
im from Newcastle in NSW & im paying $400 for an ounce, does anyone know how much an ouce (hydro) would be in amsterdam???
if it's significantly cheaper maybe it would be a great idea for me to just travel to amsterdam every few months & buy a ounce to do me for a while because the amount of money id save would by far outwight the cost of travelling there & I could save maybe over $100 a month assuming the price of pot in Amsterdam is less than half the price it is in Newcastle...
 
Ummm, I don't know how you're doing the math, but a return ticket to Amsterdam will cost a minimum $1,300 - $1,400.
Unless you're talking about moving to Amsterdam, or importing a whole shitload of dope, I think this could be a major floor in your plan.

You can also buy mushrooms in Amsterdam, but you may have a problem with the KLM baggage handlers, and your precious cargo!

ok, where exactly is amsterdam?
what about nimbain (not sure of the spelling), or any place that is known for alot of pot smokers in nsw. because i like the idea of finding somewhere where pot is extremely available, accepted, & cheap. Buying from such a place every few months in quantities like an ounce or more would save me money. & maybe have a ittle holiday there while im at it... join the hippies....
 
Hmmm, sorry to break the bad news to you but for you to get to Amsterdam (unless there's an Amsterdam more local to Australia also known for very liberal laws on dope), you're going to have to hike down to Sydney, jump on a plane for about 22ish hours with a short stop in either Bangkok or Singapore (not really known for being very accepting of the drug taking community).
Amsterdam is in Holland, with the clogs and windmills and tulips and dykes - ie North West corner of Europe across the English Channel from the UK.

ya, paying $400 for an oz does suck alot.
basically, where in australia is the cheapest places to buy pot.
I dunno if this forum has had a thread on drug prices in australia. a thread like that would be useful. im also interested in how much other drugs are in different parts on aus. cuz everything is dear here. $40 for an E, $20 - $25 for lsd.....
 
It's in Holland...??? oww that's news to me.. ok going to amsterdam would be a bad idea.. i thought it was like a 3 hours car drive or something.. i thought it would just be a good day out...
 
maybe biron bay? that would be a good place, wouldnt it? where's at. what's the price for an oz there if anyone knows?
 
It's a good day out...if you live in Belgium. Apparently at the border control of Holland and Belgium they have random checks as cars cross the border.
As the cars approach the border control, on days when they are doing checks people they chuck anything they have out the window.
Perhaps (if this Urban myth is true) you can save you dollars & fly to Amsterdam. Then go pitch a tent near the border for a few months and then you get all the free pot you can collect...take a good tent though, it's cold and rains alot at the moment! :)

Vpeace, its not where's the cheapest place to buy weed in oz, its not where it who... if you know the right people, eg someone that grows there owe hydro, or buys lagre amounts, u can get a good hookup.
 
yeah justanotherguy, but each place has its "standard price" the standard price here is 1.4 grams for $25. I've bought from 10+ dealers in various parts of newcastle & it is just known around here that that is the standard price... i know ya can get better hook ups from ya buddies.. & all that blah blah.... but im talkin about standard price

Vpeace: Not a good idea to admit that your buying drugs for a price on a public forum. It is illegal you know. And to suggest or even joke about importing is even worse

so basically it's ok to admit that u use drugs? but its not ok to admit that u buy them?
how else do ya get drugs? u have to be them.. oww unless u make them, which is worse.
 
Not to wander too far from the topic... but past drug use is one thing, future drug use is definitely another - talking about buying drugs and planning to use them in a future-tense is pretty much admission of intent to commit a crime. Past drug use discussion isn't as much of a problem as there is no evidence remaning.
Please do not discuss places to buy and sell drugs here. Fair enough you asked what was the price of pot in Amsterdam, that can be answered but can following replies please be discreet.

ok, fair enough. after all i never intend to buy pot nor import it & when i said i had previously bought it, that wasnt me typing it, obviously someone was hacking my computer & takin over my keyboard control. hmm
i had a coffee once, & a drag of someones cigarette. that's all ive ever done
