Stimulants preventing nose damage from snorting adderal

so for like 4 months i've been snorting adderal/ritilan/foclin almost everyday. at least on a pretty regular basis. I've read alot about how this can really fuck up your nose/nasal passages, but i make sure to rinse my nose with saline solution after every use and get rid of all the excess stuff up there.

will this help prevent nasal damage? or is the damage done once it's up there?
 
Using a saline nasal spray after snorting your lines will help greatly. It creates moisture so the drug can absorb better. Also it helps get any caked powder stuck in your nose/mucus membranes un-stuck.

If there was pre-existing damage due to snorting pills, using nasal spray will not make the damage disappear, but it can help prevent further damage from occurring. Not 100%, but better than nothing.

Truly the only way to avoid any and all damage due to insufflation, is quite simply to not snort anything anymore.

You can try to create a liquid solution with saline + amphetamine (adderal) and use the spray bottle to administer it. It is quite simple to do. There are a number of threads on it. If you are interested and need help with it let me know.

Plugging is also quite effective with adderal, more so than snorting. The bio-availability of adderal is:

Oral: 20-25%

Nasal: 75%

Rectal: 95-99%

IV: 100%

As you can see, plugging is almost effective as IV ! Some people are anti butt-hole mongers on here, so I am not sure if you are for or against plugging. It isn't gay, and it doesn't hurt or anything.. It is definitely worth it with certain drugs. It hits you very quickly, and you can get a "rush" from it, that's how fast it hits you.
 
The only way to keep snorting it, without having to snort the inactives, would be to cotton filter then micron filter it, and then use it as a nasal spray solution. Even then, I'm not sure how effective it would be. It depends on the type and quantity of binders in the pills.

It would probably be a better idea to switch to a less harmful ROA.
 
Bump. I've been snorting adderall for about 4 years but only the last 7 months has been prescribed and constant. I haven't noticed any nasal problems other than higher sensitivity to cold, but i do worry about what im doing my nose.

Did you read the whole thread? We already discussed a better alternative to crushing the pill and snorting the powder.
 
Wait! How is it that the amphetamine salts are at only 25% bioavailability for oral and 75% for intranasal? I have always been under the impression that Adderall is best taken by mouth. Is this not true?

Did you find this statistic in the BA/HL Mega Thread?

I would contend the increase in BA does not make up for the decrease in total duration, time wise. Therefore it is best taken orally. Especially when you factor in you aren't just snorting amphetamine salts, but a lot of other inactive ingredients as well.
 
^They do, there are many variables.

I'm with CH on this, at least when it comes to oral being the best route. I also find that with oral dosing the peak is smoother and more drawn out (even more apparent with Dexedrine over Adderall), which makes it a much more enjoyable experience for some people (myself included, more intense peak = more anxiety, and I have panic disorder.)

Your mileage may vary, give oral a shot, it may work better than you think, do some research about potentiating amphetamines with antiacids such as baking soda or Tums (calcium carbonate).
