prescribed oxycodone, but wanna try hydromorphone, will it matter in urine test?

so pardon the stupid question but if I am rx'd oxy and want to try hydromorphone
, like very little when compared to my oxy daily dose.

Example;

250-300mg oxy per day is prescribed
I wanna try approx 3-6mg hydromorphone daily

If my doc tests me to assure I am taking my oxy how will 3-6mg of the other stuff affect or appear on my urine .and / or blood test ??
 
Is this for your pain or recreation? If recreation just use the morph right afger you take a test?
 
I have legit scoliosis of the spinal column and my spine resembles the letter " S " - no shittng or exaggerating, hence;

Mild symmetric disc bulging L-3-L4 and L4-L5. Mild to moderate left facet joint osteoarthritis L-3-L4. Thoracolumbar rotoscoliosis. And some more. That;s just a small taste. Cluster headaches gone for now. I love Nature and Comfort foods.

So here is the score, I take an 80mg when awake and then another 12 hours later. With the degree of pain and now my tolerance as I have been rx'd 3 x 80mg per day plus 40mg instant release daily I am trying to taper down a bit.

So after 6 hours following my morning toast my body (pain) tells me it hurts. Literally. every fuckin day. 6 hours on the nose I need the Ir 10-20 mg oxy for breakthrough pain.

My idea was to switch the oxy ir's mid-day with 3-6 mg of hydromorph ... that's all.

So if my doc asks me to piss or bleed and test to confirm I am taking the oxy's how will the 3-6mg hydromorps change all this love , peace and happiness?
 
So you're not allowed to take the other stuff? I suppose it would show as morphine vs oxy on a test..

I singed a contract specifically stating THAT I WILL NOT HAVE CERTAIN SHIT IN MY BODY OTHER THEN WHAT MY DOC RX'S TO ME;

EVEN ACETAMINOPHEN -WHICH IS FOUND IN PERCOCETS ~ AND WHY i GOT THE INSTANT RELEASE OXY 10MG THAT ARE PURE OXY AND NOT MUCH FILLER IF ANY.
PURE REAL SHIT. AND ALSO SUPER DUPER MUTHAFUCKIN IN DEMAND IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

MORPHINE / MS CONTIN

AND A BUNCH OF OTHER RELATED STUFF YOU CAN NAME OFF EASILY... I FORGOT.

I dont do anything else and quit blow and only drink like 375ml Rum mixed with pop weekly (max) .. %)

Feels great to be so pain free for a change. I suffered immensely for many years.

Yes, it will likely show up. However it has a very short half life, so if you take it right after the text you should be fine.
 
Hydromorphone is out of your system in like 3 days, so just make sure you don't use any for a few days before your appointment.

NO OFFENSE TO YOU PERSONALLY, BUT I CANNOT TRUST THIS COMMENT. IF I AM SWITCHING 3-6 MG OF THE HUDROMOR FOR THE OXY AND TAKE IT FOR 3 WEEKS SOME WILL ACCUMULATE IN MY BLOOD / PISS AND therefore even if I stop 3-5 days prior I really have a difficult time sleeping well on it.

ps. - I KNOW OF A TRUE 100% STORY WHEN A GUY PARTIED ALLLLLLLLLLL NIGHT WITH BLOW & DID A TEST THE very next morning AND IT WAS NOT FOUND.

So what now... seriously.

Hydromorphone stays in your system for 2-4 days. If it shows up any longer like your coke did then your just a freak of nature, an exception to the rule. Cocaine shouldn't be shown up any longer than 5 days max. 3-6mg of Hydromorphone will do nothing for you at the dose of oxycodone you are on. I know you don't plan to substitute your entire dose of oxycodone with that but just for some info 250mg of oxycodone is equivalent to 18.75mg of "IV" Hydromorphone and 93.75mg of Hydromorphone "oral".

so after asking many many people and then a small village no 1 can tell me why I tested + after 3 weeks. The only possible explanation was the cut they add to it.

I should probably just stick to the menu and not mess around.

It is really whack that cocaine showed up in your system so long. I could never explain because it could be cut with anything and still shouldn't have shown up. Cuts don't make cocaine stay in your system longer. The only real drugs that stay in your system longer than a week are cannabis, benzodiazepines only if you have been chronically abusing them daily and PCP (possibly). Most drugs are anywhere from 2-7 days. Odd
 
Yea it will show you are taking other drugs than what younger rxed. If you're gonna do it, do it after a visit so the dr won't see you while it's jn your staten.

lol you don't have to trust or believe anything, it is a fact. If you want to feel any more comfortable, then give yourself a week off before the drug test. No one can really give you a definitive answer why you tested positive for cocaine 21 days days after abstinence from it.
 
Hydromorphone shows as hydromorphone as a drug test. It will be out your system in 2-4 days as stated. Hydromorphone withdrawl is quick but intense, I'm starting to get sick after six hours, feeling it hard after 8. I find with my chronic pain having 2 different narcotics (one extended release, one IR) is more effective then always taking the same drug, both for tolerance and pain reasons. Hydromorphone does have a low oral BA when compared to oxycodone though, keep that in mind.
 
well it depends on the drug test. I'm sure at a doctors office they would use an extensive lab test, but if they used a 5 strip or 12 strip, it would show up on the OPI line once the hydromorphone breaks down into morphine and its other natural analogs. Im guessing the drug test you failed for coke was probably a strip test because they are notorious for showing false positives. If you got lab tested after 21 days of not doing coke and tested positive, that's just insane
