pregalin vs gabapentin?

just a quick questions realy regardin the strength of pregalin over gabapentin... how much stronger are pregalin 75mg compared to gabapentin 300mg capsules? thanks for your answers much aprieated

given the fact that the therapeutic range of Gabapentin is 1800-3600 mg/d and 300-600 mg/d for Pregabalin, I would assume that Pregabalin is about 6x as potent, meaning, the 75mg capsule should be about equivalent to 450 mg Gabapentin.
Also according to this http://link.springer.com/article/10.2165/11536200-000000000-00000at higher dosages Gabapentin becomes less effective because of a drop in bioavailability while this does not seem to happen with Pregabalin.
But thats just an estimate. Remember, while similar, they are still different drugs, some people tolerate one of them but not the other. Both drugs should be started at a low dose and titrated up.

I can redose gabapentin for like three days then go back to regular dosing and not feel depression. With LyricaI couldn't. I would withdrawal like crazy and that's why I switched back to gaba.
