Precip withdraws question help needed

Okay I've been on 30 mg of methedone for a year Friday I went down 5 mgs a day last dose was Sunday morning at 8 im trying to do a sub induction Thursday or Friday hopefully Thursday morning my doc gave me 30 oxy 10s(lucky right?) to get me threw till Friday,but I want inducted thursday my question is being that I'm wding from methedone can I still have prcip withdraws with oxy in my system day of induction ?I also have 1 oz of Kratom handy and a few benzos anybody have a game plan for me? You guys are always very very helpful and careing with others I had no better place to write this on ,note this is Tuesday and even with 20mg or even 30mg I still feel bad,and my big prob is I have work Thursday night I can't lose my job ,also one more question Kratom can't give prcip wds right? Thanks sorry if my writing is bad I don't feel so swell right now
 
Why would you change your medication after coming down to such a reasonable amount of methadone. You could just go on and see what happens. You are very close to be free! Why don't you take a chance? I swear it's definitely worth it, despite of some real bad days.

Anyways, I think you could go through precipitated withdrawal if don't wait until all of the methadone gets out of your body. And that can take a bit longer than we predict. Probably 3-4 days IMO. And definitely if you still have oxy in your system. That's based on what I know about done's.

About your work, you should be really careful not to work while risking withdrawal. Suggest you weigh the pros and cons of taking a day off.
 
I already took off wensday thinking I'd be inducted that morning they changed it to Friday but I'm gonna try and have it Thursday morning I will prillu just stop taking oxy tommarow at 6 have a 13 hour window just taking Kratom till then,and the reason I'm switching is because I can't afford the clinic and the 2 hour drive everyday anymore.
 
You need to wait 24 hours before induction if you have taken Oxycodone, sometimes up to 36 hours depending on the dose amount.
As for Kratom - If you wait about 6 to 12 hours you should not get PWD from induction.
 
I'm currently not withdrawing from oxy I'm withdrawing from methedone,my counsoler told me wait 12 hours and I'll be fine I've also read many places Kratom dose not give pwds
 
Ahhh, okay. I think you should be okay taking Kratom but to be safe take your last dose no sooner 6 hours before induction. Better safe then sorry.
