Aight so...took some suboxone earlier and went into these dreaded W/D's. What my question is and I couldnt seem to find the answer is this....

I went through them, they lasted about an hour. Feel fine now, but can I take another sub and be ok? Or will this still set me back into Precips? Like is it possible to go back into them once you experienced them already or does the one time force them out of the receptors and Ill be good to go?

In general the one time forces them out of the receptors and you are good to go, however if the opiate you were on is longer lasting than the bupe (I'm mainly thinking methadone here) then it's conceivable for the bupe to wear off and the residual methadone to kick back in thereby facilitating the possibility of repeating your previous experience. However so long as you keep your brain happy with bupe it will dominate and nothing else will get the chance to reattach to be ripped off again.

Appreciate it. I went into those like 7 pm last night. At 5 am now feel fine. Feel a little shitty from not using but its nothing worse than those PWD's. But Im easily at 34 hours without an opiate now (other than bupe (2mg))...Suppose the bupe took over after the PWD's? (I couldnt really narrow this down by reading) Because the bupe is what forced me into PWD's that means that does has no effect and I have to wait to feel better with another dose? I must say after all the info I been taking in, Bupe is complex.

That is correct.

Because the bupe is what forced me into PWD's that means that does has no effect
No. That dose had an effect as well after the precipitated withdrawal.

Buprenorphine has a strong binding affinity but only partial agonist action. Think of it like a guy ripped on steroids with shriveled up genitalia. He can get all the girls, even steal them from other guys, but in the end he's not really that satisfying.
