pramiracetam and mdma

I know a lot of people take MDMA and piracetam together for enhancement and alleged neuroprotective effects.

Would taking pram and MDMA be a bad idea? I read that pram increased glutamate activity in the brain to a much higher extent than piracetam (though I'm not sure if piracetam increases glutamate at all). I keep reading that increased glutamate activity can be bad for the brain (excitotoxicity)

Could this potentially worsen any potential neurotoxicity? I happened to take it with mdma one night so I hope not.
 
Ive wondered about this before, i found one report on this combination and the person said it only caused weirdness or something like that.
 
I felt fine while I was on it - and was depressed after the MDMA wore off - but I usually always get depression afterwards. i think I may have even taken piracetam that same night as well. At the time I thought the substances acted in the same manner, one (pram) being stronger), but after reading up on it, it seems that they act in different manners. I posted this in ADD because I don't think many people would be familiar with pramiracetam's mode of action and/or the presence of heightened glutamate activity during MDMA usage.

Besides, its crazymed here, youll know me from another board;).

The racetams have actually been shown to protect against glutamate induced toxiticy, i dont think you have anything to worry about (atleast piracetam, but i cant imagine prami to enhance neurotoxiticy).

I often combined piracetam and MDMA as it made the high better and significantly reduced the comedown.
 
i thought it was crazymed. I remember the avatar - didn't u use that one on the other site as well?
