pound of old weed what should i to do

so i came across a pound of really old homegrown weed. i think it was harvested to late and dried out to long. also its really old so that makes the it worse. and the taste of the smoke is unbearable. but it does have visible crystals, hairs, and trichomes.

my question is.. what can i do to this stuff to make it smokeable. should i do a thc extraction, make hash, press the keif...ect

if you guys got any good easy guides on how to do that or what to do with the weed i would greatly appreciate it thanks

make hash out of it. there are tons of guides to making bubble hash out there.
 
Don't smoke it, that's for sure. If it really is that shitty and doesn't get you very high (assuming you smoke a fair amount) then your only real option to make it worth your time (and money?) would be to grind it up and make hash, butter, or anything else you can think of.

Try cooking some of the THC into some butter and make a cookie or something. Put a gram of this shwag in a grinder and extract the THC that way. Usually .5 of some middies will get you REALLY baked just by ingesting it orally(AS LONG AS ITS COOKED INTO FAT). If 2x the amount of this weed (so a gram) can get you high then i'd say your set. Start cooking!

just kiddin, turn that shit into hash. go buy some bubble bags (kinda expensive) or go ahead n BHO that shit (slightly less expensive but slightly dangerous)

either way though hash is prob the best way to go, especially if that pound of weed isnt necessarily 'gold'

anyways do what you will, enjoy your find, i envy you, even, if it turned out to be just a lb. of shwag

EASY CHEAP BHO TECH

go to Bed bath n beyond or some other nice kitchen store n get a stainless steal turkey baster, get some unbleached #4 coffee filters, a pyrex pie plate, zip ties n razor blades, oh n quality buane (3x refined or more)

1 fill the turkey baster with bud
2. strap a coffee vilter on the end, trim the excess, then secure with zip tie or two
3 run butane through turkey baster and collect what comes out in the pyrex plate
4 let butane evaporate
5 scrape up goods with razor blades

that is the basic instructions.

you could youtube BHO extractions if you wanna "see" the process. just remember dont smoke or have any open flame nearby when messin around with the 'tane', go outside n take precautions, good luck

Or if you want do a dry sift, break it all up pretty good and put it over a fine mesh screen, or put all of the stuff in a large jar and cover the top with pantyhose or something, along with a coin inside it to agitate the trichomes. Then shake the jar upside down and let the kief fall out.

I think its easier if you freeze dry the weed because the kief is easier to break off.

yea i forgot to think how long it would take to run a whole ounce through the turkey baster method.

but maybe if if you have local glass blower blow you a nice glass exctraction tube

or invest in bubble bags cuz panty hose kief is gonna be of lower quality however if you dont wannna spend the money then it is a decent cheap way to get some kief
 
Dry sifting is how the Moroccans do it I think, I beleive there's different grades depending on how much it is sifted, or the size of the screens.

Its like the different bags of bubble bags. Personally I would just mix em all at the end in form it into one block of hash.

That's what I was thinking. One of these days I'll need to clean out my attic crawl space. Who knows?

But yeah man, your best bet as has been said before is probably to try and make yourself some decent hash, or another product which is isolated from the plant-matter.

if its dried out and you wanna reconstitute it, put about an one orange worth of peel into a large Tupperware and put with about a quarter pound of the weed. Seal the container and leave it this way for abotu6 hours. The weed will absorb some of the oils from the orange peel and gain back their moisture content. I do this to my own weed when it's been sitting around to long and gets dried out. This also works with banana peel and pieces of sliced bread.

The orange and bannana peel will also alter the flavor of the bud. The bread will not.
 
and i thought i was lucky when i came across an ounce of old bud haha, i just used it to roll spliffs i couldnt smoke it out of a bowl but yeah you should make hash or bake it.
 
I'd make oil and bake it into some tasty brownies or cookies. Mmm slice brownies. Well with a pound hash is a fine idea too
