But I personally know a TON of people that smoke pot like cigarettes. Ie holding your hit in for a second or two max. It's mostly heavy cigarette smokers. I know I always make sure I hold my hit in a good 5 seconds. Granted this is a good thing to take note of, I don't think is the problem.

Not exactly true. Of course your tolerance will raise once you switch to nugs, but I smoked schwag for 2 years and I've been smoking nugs for 5 or so. When I smoked schwag, by the end I'd go through an ounce every 2-3 days and I would barely even feel it after smoking lots and lots. Plus the high started to get dirty and shitty. On the other hand, with good nugs, I still get high every time, even if sometimes the high is not too intense. It has remained very pleasant and enjoyable though, and I smoke daily.
 
Try smoking a j in your bathroom with the shower on full heat and a towel under the door - It's like being in a sauna, it gets you stoned and relaxes you more than you can imagine.
 
fasting, or staying awake for long periods of time will potentiate... but fasting is more enjoyable... if you stay awake for too long and smoke weed you will hallucinate dark things
 
^^^ Good point. Interesting how fasting (and in some cases sleep deprivation too) has long been seen as the first step a shaman takes before an entheogenic ceremony.
 
I know its been said but a beer or two is always my fav. I like benzos and PKs but that can get to be expensive.

I like a good microbrew or 3 and a nice indica dominant strain. Add some downtempo or chill nu-jazz (acid jazz whatever) and I'm chilling. For max results do this outside around dusk in the summer :)
 
i find the best way to potential the high.....cut day smoke time and do things that would make me feel accomplished...then have smoking time..feeling well for everything enyoing life
