Misc Potassium Sorbate in Codeine Product

Active ingredients are codeine (30 mg) and APAP (500 mg). However, the package also mentioned it contains Potassium Sorbate. Is this safe when doing a CWE on 12 tablets?

It's perfectly safe, potassium sorbate is a water soluble natural preservative.
