from now on threads of this type will be euthanised without mercy. If you want to post about something at least show that you have done a basic google search and read the answers. rather than expecting spoon feeding.

I also think that more threads in ADD should be moved to the basic section!

I am sure many of the more knowledgeable folk on here would frequent this section more if that was the case.

I'm not as knowledgable as most of the people who post in ADD but even with my experience and what I've read in here, I have to agree the level of the posts has been slowly declining and it used to be pretty strict in here, but more and more have been slipping through lately.

At least de facto, and nearly de jure, this has been a long-standing policy of a year or more. We need people to follow these guidelines to increase the signal to noise ratio in here.

Right i hate when posts end in "please discuss" like we wouldnt discuss it anyway. Really what did they think we do here all log on and talk without direction arg it pisses me off so much!
