in that case, if i'm using my iphone, i often take a screenshot of an image then crop the borders off it (if necessary) and upload it to tinypic.com or some other hosting site.
you can then post the links it provides from there..

there are image hosting sites that will just give you the vb code for any image you upload (e.g. tinypic that sj mentioned)
