Sorta, but you are better off using something like ableton live which has a beat warping function that beat matches things, or let's you mess with all of what you asked about. There's also "Recycle" by the same folks that make Reason, but I think Ableton is way cooler. And there's also the beat slicer included in fruity loops 5. That is pretty cool for making cut up beats and stuff.
 
I would vote you get yerself a midi controller of some sorts and as much ram as you can....but that is jsut cause it works so well for me.

edit - btw, i ended up getting the Roland SP-606 sampler....i think it will do me good.

Good songs by the way.. need i say more..your stuff always blows me away...i must learn to harness your knowledge of such musical tweaking via that amazing software.

Gone Away: I am so surprised you didn;t listen to pavement before. It has a very early pavement vibe. Is that like a casio loop underneath? It is ok and sounds good and all, but I think once you get yer hands on some good workstation/sequencing program you will be able to do better service to your guitar skills, which do some cool things throughout this song. Throw some cool editted breakbeats or something underneath. I really like the noises you make the guitar make sometimes. I think if you played the bass and put more variations in the bass it would be cool to. It is nice the way the guitar moves overtop everything, but I can just hear it. I like the vocal effects towars the end. They had a good effect. Made me wish to do nitrous...

EDIT: I LOVE the guitar noise playing that conlcudes the song. I wanna sample that shit.

But to get philisophical here...how are we all the same if for example some people hate psychedelics, and some love psychedelics?

And it is sounding good to me stoned. 2 out of 2 inebriants can't be wrong. Man you are like hearing early pavement all over again. Very cool hook in this song. Love the keys/pad in the background. The reverb on the vocals is interesting too, sorta like The Dude's rug, it ties the room (song) together. This is probably the song of your I like the most so far!

I just listened to the song DOI. Very cool instrumental vibe. Had a classic kind of feel to it. You gotta mail me a nice high qaulity mp3 of this so I can sample it!!!

...And then the vocals come in! Nice! Man yer style is starting to really take on an intriguing shape! I dig it!
