what's the deal?

now that my band has some live songs from our most recent show (our second show), i decided to post some links to that media for comments, either for praise or criticism. we're all 17 year olds from indianapolis. let me know what you think, and sign the tagboard on the website!

just go to the media section; "track 2" is really called "ersatz", and "into the zeller" is one of our funk tunes...conflict of interest is just pretty fucked, but good.

ersatz is our newest, so there're more timing mistakes, etc, so if you want a defining example of our talent, listen to into the zeller first, and then the others. later.

Dex, I really liked "malfunctrobot"...it reminded me sorta of the band, "The Fall". The guitars are nice and raucous. Do you like Pavement? You sing similarly I think to their singer...
 
havent ever taken a listen. maybe i should? this guy in rehab gave me a fat list of shoegazer bands to check out......shoegazer/falling over into electro with bands/artists similar to more modern massive attack and such ambient goodness. Keep in mind im still using analogue type recording.

EDIT - gave Pavement a listen..i really like them..genious! thanks bro.
Now gotta get some Cardigans, Kraftwerk, Muse, Echobelly, Curve, Blue Boy, Free Moral Agents, Feist, Kings of Convenience, amoung about 50 other groups im getting into right now.....

....and FUCK YES that San Diego county has Lou's Records.

I need to remix that one somehow I realize. I had ecstatic moments listening to it as I was mixing it the other night...but maybe I twiddled too much. Back to twiddling...heh.

I love twiddling the knobs. ;)
