i think this is the funnies one i've ever heard.
MDMA will make u turn into a homosexual.
 
Well, the "hole in the brain" theory is actually referring to Olneys lesions I believe. However, I don't know if there's any other scientific "proof" available that shows this to be true.
A common myth I've heard is that E is simply a mix of speed and viagra and other aphrodisiac drugs.
(actually this is what most media sources seem to still believe, however they seem to be more educated on the matter these days)
 
Actually, I think the "holes in the brain" myth refers to that ever-popular brain scan that they showed on that MTV special on E and the one that NIDA has made a million dollars off of putting it in postcards and all over their websites. The one that has the "normal brain" on one side and the "ecstasy user's brain" on the other side. The one where the "ecstasy user" was really also a heavy coke addict as well as quite a few other drugs, et cetera. Not only that, the scan didn't show "holes in the brain," it was merely colorized to show areas of maximum/minimum activity at that point in time and as such didn't really prove anything except that more tests needed to be done. But the funny thing is, in the MTV special where they were showing the scan, someone standing by mentioned "it looks like they have big holes in their brain" and you know what happened from there.
I don't think Olney's lesions have ever been traced back to MDMA. I've only heard about K.

Actually I have also heard the crazy theory that because your pupils overdilate from the drug, too intense light gets into your retina and burns holes like a lightbeam through a looking-glass.. hehe..
 
In vietnam they dropped MDMA gas from jet fighters... This gas causes your lungs to bleed and drown in your own fluids...
It's a quite painful death quite like a mustard gas...
 
a lot of these are more or less peoples opinions, then they go and tell everyone they can and they become a myth. mainly the ones dealing with sex

I've been hearing that holes-in-the-brain myth since at least 10 years ago.
 
I heard that a chick who was on an E, didn't want to come down - some guy told her that if you drink your own piss the effects will go back through your system, like having the E all over again.
The worst part - she actually did it!
 
speed and viagra!!!! what!!!!.. oh my gawd! i don't think soo. my dam bf can't get a hard on cause of e or any otehr type of drug he would take, even the day after .. eah it sucks
 
That's true Lithium! Apparently a lot of the mdma isn't absorbed by your body and comes out in your urine... there's been lots of threads about it on bluelight. Do a search and see what turns up...
 
Hey Deefex, do you turn back into a heterosexual if you have another pill? Better make sure to have an even number then (or odd depending on your preference).
 
I heard one about doping racehorses with e to relax them mentally and increase stamina.
i just have visions of the horses bopping along to the commentator with his mad fast rap style
