Post Roll?? I think i have this right...

Ok so i have been taking 5-HTP 100mg 2X a day. Is that right? for about a week now. We are planning on Rolling in a few months and thought we would start with this and stop about a week befor. Should that be good? and should it help?
My main question is (and keep in mind I am a bit of a Newbi and a Puss) This stuff is making me feel all Panicky! Like I am going to havve an anxioty Attack any Second! So i cut down to one time aday.. But if it keeps this up It is NOT worth it. I am alil over sinsitive to things. Which Helps! I never have to buy as much.
And the last roll (my first in a VERY long time) I was FLOORED on a very small amount. I didn't mind I just truly had no clue what to expect...
People can tell you about it all day long...It is defently a first hand experiance only!

There's no necessity to take 5-HTP before your roll. Assuming you have a normal diet, you should be getting plenty of serotonin precursor in the form of tryptophan. Contrary to popular belief, MDMA doesn't produce its effects solely by releasing serotonin; it's not a matter of more serotonin = a better roll. Your body can only synthesize and store so much serotonin, anyway; excesses of 5-HTP are simply excreted, in addition to causing peripheral issues like you described.

The best way to prepare for a roll is to diet, exercise, and generally feel good about yourself. In general, try not to hype up your roll too much...it's better to go into it with modest expectations and allow yourself to be surprised. :) Since it seems that you've had several months off (and several more to go), you shouldn't have much of a tolerance issue, if any.

Also, I can't stress this enough -- if you want to have a good, satisfying roll, it's imperative that you actually have MDMA in the first place. Use a testing kit, available from EZtest.com or DanceSafe.org (among other places) to be sure that your substance contains MDMA. Even if you only use MDMA once or twice, a testing kit is a sound and worthwhile investment.

^ This. Ditch the 5-HTP. Many people reports piracetam helping with their roll and it is known to have an actual neuroprotectant effect (pro-cholinergic, which means it will help with overall brain communication and functioning).

The best way to help your roll, though, is to put a lot of space in between your rolls. Spreading out your usage is the quickest way to ensure you'll have intense, magical rolls for years to come =)
 
YEs, magical rolls... I want one of those...

By, the way, if the 5-HTP is making you nervous or sleepy you should diminish the dose. It's not helping you.
 
5-htp before a roll always sabotaged my roll, btw. It would get a strong MDEA edge to it as opposed to being active and hyper like a good dose of MDMA.
