Post opiate wd infections???

I've never heard of anything like this...but every single time I have made it past a week clean on any opiate I get an infection. Never fails. Usually my ears, chest or kidneys. I thought it was coincidence and maybe something to do with histamine levels going down so more susceptible to viruses or something... But yet again just quit...well I did...for a week. Not so much anymore but yea without fail both ears are swollen and painful with a punch to the kidneys feel. Anyone know what is going on?? Im guessing its a histamine/immune thing...but just curious...n frustrated

I have no idea on this one.. what opiate are you getting clean off this time? How much were you using and what was it if you want to share?

maybe it's just coincidence? Have you gone to a doctor recently to get checked?

Only effects I may have had were gastrointestinal which seemed to linger. It's not typical to experience respiratory, ENT or kidney infections from opiate withdrawal, though I don't doubt what you're experiencing seems real. If it goes on, see your doctor.
