As we all know the contamination problem is rife in the uk and is getting worse due to new evolved forms of harder to detect micro contaminants(stealth grit). see www.gritweed.co.uk for details. please post your pics /veiws/ thoughts on contaminated weed here. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE! SMOKERS UNITE AGAINST CONTAMINATION!








CAN ANYONE TELL FROM THESE PICS IF THIS IS CONTAMINATED?
 
I have my doubts that only trichomes can become "contaminated" :\ That seems highly improbable.
If I recall, when an invasive organism(like a species of mold or bacteria for example) infects a cannabis bud, it is only localised in the early stages. If left alone, the entire bud would likely be consumed as fungi especially can use virtually any organic matter as food/energy.
 
i was just wondering if it was still about myself, ive not seen any for a while, although for a year or so round here there was literally no clean weed to be found but it seems to have changed now, sadly more often than not its some dodgy homegrown but its better than a lung full of sand
 
yeah man - I not seen contaminated weed in a while..but that's coz my hookups are homegrown only now...or imported hashish...

But that don't look like THC to me - a trichome should look like a crystalline mushroom

from what i read the stealth grit seems to be some sort of additive that reacts chemically with the trichromes or something along that line. basically the weed becomes ineffective as weed, but its heavier due to the additives (the idea behind grit)
 
huh^ that sounds weird. the weed still works.

you guys know road paint right? yellow lines? its reflective on highways and shit right? follow me? the paint is reflective because of small glass beads they add to the paint. it dosent burn, but its mad heavy. i wish i could word this better, i am smashed.

AND THE COMPANIES THAT SUPPLY THE STUFF CAN MAKE THE BEADS CUSTOM TO ORDER ie smaller, larger depending on weed being laced.
 
I've heard of the glass bead contaminant problem in Europe and the UK but no where else.

From your shitty pictures it looks like heavily resinous bud and that is all. Best of luck.
