In late august, after my largest mephedrone binge to date (1 gram) I developed extremely tight muscles in my pelvic floor, lower back, thighs, knees and lower abdominal area. I have been diagnosed with myofascial pain syndrome (specifically relating to prostate and pelvic floor muscles) and have to see trigger point therapist which has been helping. It is now 7 months later and I am still not recovered (I was misdiagnosed 3 different times). I have stopped cathinone use since then. Because of this problem, Orgasms do not feel right and range from tight to extremely painful lasting days to weeks. I cannot ride a bike anymore. I also cannot sit down without a special pad without pain. Totally has altered my life in a bad way.
Now basically, everytime I smoke pot (I used to smoke daily for 4 years) since then, my joints and the pain I experience is much stronger and more pronounced. Sometimes, I am in almost no noticeable discomfort but if i smoke any amount of marijuana, It flares up all the pain. I can now not smoke anymore
Does anyone have any idea? I guess there are two questions.
1. Why would mephedrone cause such long-lasting muscular issues? Stretching, regular physical therapy and not doing strenuous activity had zero impact on recovery. Only intense acupuncture and trigger point therapy has started to help.
2. Why, chemically, would marijuana cause my pain to flare up instead of calm it down? I want to bring cannabis back into my life as it has many other therapeutic values for me.
I want to just add more to the deck that mephedrone, and cathinones in general (that includes you too methylone), can be very damaging and in my example, in a long-term way.
