possible to nod from snorting?

i was just wondering if its possible to nod from snorting dope. also, are the great feelings people always talk about dope giving (melts all your problems away, content to stare at shoe laces for 8 hours). do these feelings only come from shooting? sniffing dope honestly doesnt get me THAT high. even with no tolerence and going for week to 2 week breaks, i can sniff a whole bag at once and wont nod. ill feel nice, not very euphoric, just some how "fucked up". honestly the only thing i really enjoy about dope is trying to sleep on it. when i go to bed i never really fall asleep, i just sort of toss and turn all night and then wake up in the morning with energy and i feel great. but even eating percosets is more euhphoric then dope. even doing a whole bag i can think of my problems and still feel like shit. am i just going all the wrong way by not sticking it strait in my viens?

you're probably just getting very weak dope. Are you sure it's actual heroin? A lot of times someone will cut another common opiate (oxycontin is common, fent, morphine) and sell that as smack, dope, rocks, whatever the term in your area is.
It is very possible to nod from snorting, as well as it is very easy to OD via snorting. If everything doesn't work for you and you start shooting it, then know your purity well, because right now it doesnt sound like you know dosage levels too good. Good luck.
 
i also think its bad dope.
If its good you can get a great euphoric high and nod off by snorting it.
dont poke yourself just yet... maybe you get lucky and get some good dope next time

yes, you will nod from snorting heroin. in fact the only difference between snorting and shooting is the rush. 20 mins later someone that shot it and someone that snorted it will be about in the same state. also, i have met people that just don't nod from heroin (though i am positive that if he shot enough he would nod).
most likely though, what you have is NOT heroin. a bag of any some-what decent heroin will at least give you a strong euphoria if you have never done it before.
when i started using i snorted it, not only did i nod but i got very amusing hullicinations for hours. and that was off of less then one bag (although now i realize i was using some pretty good dope, ya know, for street shit).
try a new dealer, new spot, whatever. and don't overdo it, some real heroin might blow your mind. also... you could just quit now in your not-impressed-with-heroin-state and save yourself a life long obsession with little bags of sunshine.

i guess i just get beat dope sometimes..... but most of the time i get good shit.... other people do the same bags and they nod, my one friend got high all day off one bag just doing a little bump once in awhile. i think i was fucking up with the dosage because when i do too much i dont feel it as strong as if i did like 1/3 or 1/4 of the bag instead of doing half of it or all at once
 
I agree with the masses above. your probably not getting good dope. It probably sucks & is cut to shit. I suggest you find another source for it. As far as the shooting goes, I personally don't fuck with the needle. However many of my boys do and say the high is very much intensified when you bang it as opposed to just bumping it. So the decision is up to you, but, find a new source for all further dope purchases...
 
The dope toasty gets is good, I tried it on 2 seperate occasions and I was feeling reallllly nice. I also have opiate tolerence, and I thought it was much more fun then oxycodone. I I think toasty is doing too much, getting sick, and not enjoying himself. Slow down buddy.
 
Looks like I'll be about the only one to say this but for me personally I found snorting dope to be both a waste of my time and hard earned money.
I took it a step farther, but it's totally up to you personally if you want to take it to the next level. Keep in mind that once you get over the whole issue with using needles shooting is pretty addictive. It is a great feeling, but I wouldn't do it unless you have a incredible sense of self control or you're ready to deal with the upkeep of an addiction.
If you do choose to go the route please always be sanitary.
