due to my location, i'd rather not be poking around places where i might find the chemical structure of "CX717" (discussed here). if the structure is similar in any way to phenethylamines, then it only goes to fllow that there could also be psychedelic variants possible.

its already know that phenthylamines, amphetamines, cathinones, and piperazines can be made into psychedelics with additions at the usual locations on the benzene ring, and perhaps this can even be done with aminorex/4mar (i personally havent seen documentation, but it may be possible).

so anyone who might know the structure to 'CX717' or the base that makes it an ampakine, or even which receptors it seems to activate, if you could provide it and offer some thoughts, i would appreciate it :)

of course, i'm probably getting ahead of myself with this, but does that really matter? ;)

AMPAkines potentiate AMPA receptor based currents.. i.e. non-NMDA ionotropic glutamate receptors. Like benzos, but for excitation, instead of depression. I have no idea about the structure of aforementioned chemical, but if it were to get altered it would a) probably no longer be an active AMPAkine and b) talking about it would be against forum guidelines.

Stick to the pharmacology, the chemistry, the recreation, but not all three.

All I could find were these:

They don't look like anything any other psychedelics that I know of offhand... I guess the first is kind of shaped like MDMA but I doubt it would hold any similar activity.
