I have had chest pains for three months now, and reading the stuff online, it seemed like the best thing to do is to go to the ER and so I did. I went there three times and each time, they misdiagnosed me with chest wall pain and sent me home with ibuprofen. I seriously don't know what to do, because if I go back to the ER, they will just send me home again. They did not do jack shit to help with my situation. They just did an EKG and assumed that it is normal, but they don't have the equipment to do an Echo which I seriously need. What if I die, people will say that it is my fault for dying. I can't change what people will think about me. The thing I really have to worry about is that in the end, it will seriously hurt like hell, so I need to find a way to cushion that pain. If doctors cannot help my situation, perhaps the dealers can, I don't know. I'm seeing a cardiologist on the 9th and I need to convince him to give me a Echo. Like what do doctors do? They're supposed to help, I shouldn't have to look this stuff up. Goddam it! Well, I guess there's nothing I can do except keep trucking along. Each day I have to pretend that it is the day that I don't die, but I guess everyone sort of has that problem. I guess yall be preaching about getting medical help, but believe me, I am trying. Every cardiologist is booked and the ER physician doesn't know enough to save his own ass. May God have mercy on my soul.

Panic attacks can also cause chest pain. Have you ruled those out? Hopefully a cardiologist will do all the tests necessary to rule out heart disease or other problems. If nothing shows up as problematic, look into panic attacks.

Im sure they will. Why do you suspect angina other than chest pain? Besides anxiety, GERD, costochondritis and many, many things can cause it.
