This thread is probably stupid, but I can't seem to find anything consistently enjoyable, vice or not. Consequences include fast tolerances and widespread allergies.
Examples:
Drinking - I'm reasonably knowledgeable about booze and beer, having spent a lot of money and time on trying different types. Nowadays, alcohol just triggers inflammation, including sinus inflammation, and I have the urge to pee constantly.
Smoking - Cigarette tobacco is very meh. Cloves/kreteks would seem to be ok, except for headaches and even more annoying reactions, triggering cystic acne. It's either hormonal, allergies, or some combination. Normal cigarettes, even good brands like Lucky Strike, cause issues like hair loss, dark eye circles, and some yellowing of the eyes. Just not worth the trouble.
Pipes and cigars can be nice on occasion. The nicotine contributes to insomnia. Probably still have less apparent hormonal and systemic effects.
MJ is just costly in ways. I'm a driver for work, so that is highly risky in the event of any accident, due to mandatory testing. Even with that aside, it's not really enjoyable for me to smoke or vape. Effects are generally nice, though. I have considered analogues, but my former stance on unregulated synthetic drugs is they they're too risky. That has changed some with understanding that my body hates most herbal medication.
Coffee, tea, energy drinks - With high anxiety, caffeine really takes it over the edge. Fatigue usually increases with the anxiety. Rarely I have felt more clear when consuming energy drinks, but that likely had more to do with other factors, and it has been more of an exception.
Making and drinking tea with loose leaf can be an enjoyable process, mostly the deliberation and mindfulness of the experience. Maybe I'm too lazy or distracted to keep it up.
Nootropics - expensive and mostly inconsistent. Everyone is looking for things to click, but they just haven't with me personally.
If anything, I would still consider Aniracetam again for its less potent benefits and anxiolytic properties, as compared to newer and stronger ampakines. Piracetam caused sinus infections due to some unknown mechanism, and a handful of other users have reported the same. Vitamins and herbs have mostly caused my liver enzyme levels to climb. I took moderate doses of accutane as a teen, so go figure. A lot of shit kills my appetite and increases anxiety, too.
SSRI's and anxiolytic pharmaceuticals - somewhat helpful. Side effects from most are difficult, as you can surmise from my thoughts on simpler things above. GABAergic compounds were especially difficult due to their short term efficacy and long term drawbacks. I don't know if studies on dental health have been done with benzos and the like, but they really should be. Really, really.
Haven't gone the path of random physical experiences and meaningless relationships, but somehow I got the drift on how those play out. Lack of meaning is a lot to do with a lot, and the psychological aspect seems to be there regardless of habits. Anhedonia may be all.
There are many things I'm missing and / or haven't tried, so that's why I post; In case anyone is bored enough to reply and say that this seems like a list of random thoughts without any real questions.
