After reading that experience report, all I can say is, WHAT A WASTE OF SEEDS. The opioid content of the seeds is neglible at best. I didn't think there were any active alkaloids in the poppy seeds themselves, but I guess there must be some. Anyways the people in that report should've planted those seeds, grew a shitload of poppies, harvested and dried the pods, and then they could've made their poppy tea about a hundred times instead of once.
So that's the cool thing to do with your poppy seeds. Plant 'em.
