Poppy Seed Tea - First Time - No Joke

Wow, thanks for such a scientific and detailed report! Yeah poppy seed tea was my opiate of choice over everything when I was addicted to opiates, the last few years anyway. Recently in another thread here someone was talking about how different strains of the opium poppy have different ratios of alkaloids, and that there is a high thebaine content strain used by pharma to produce many different opioids that use thebaine as a starting point. I forget who it was but this poster said that he believes much of the seeds circulating now are from these plants (the implication perhaps being that they know people are using them to get high, or else they just had a lot of seeds to get rid of by chance). Back when I was using them, I noticed that from some sources the high would be much nicer and more relaxing than others. I eventually found a source for almost laughably cheap seeds in 25 pound boxes, so strong, it was the best opiate high ever, super euphoric, lots of nodding, lasted a whole day, amazing body feeling.

But yeah seeds are dangerous because you don't know how strong they are. If you found a batch and needed 2 pounds because they were weak, and then you did 2 pounds of a strong batch, it could easily kill you. You have to start small with poppy seed tea. It's certainly no joke. Back when I was addicted to opiates I could take poppy seed tea, and I would start to feel minor withdrawals 36 hours later but I'd make it to 48 hours before taking it again without much trouble. Very long-lasting, which is odd because isolated morphine doesn't last nearly as long. I've always wondered what's going on with that.
Dang it sounds how methadone should actually be instead of that shitty high that blocks your receptors... ? ? ?

Its a sort of Morphidone given the duration of action. Interestingly, the duration of action is shortened (and speed of onset increased) when heated (which I feel is inline with my PST=liposomal morphine theory, in that heat bursts the liposomal bubble so to speak).

I actually have fond memories of methadone and would take it over morphine. (I wonder if my fond memories would hold up today if I had methadone today.)
