Poppy Seed Tea + Alprazolam + Marijuana - experienced - The Holy Trinity

"The Holy Trinity"

There's a massive shortage of experience reports involving benzodiazepines, no doubt partly due to anterograde amnesia... here's one contribution I hope won't go astray.

2:30pm - 0.5mg alprazolam, 1 cone
T+ 1:00 - 3 cones
T+ 4:00 - Poppy Tea from 500gm seeds, 1 cone
T+ 4:08 - 0.5mg alprazolam, 1 cone
T+ 5:09 - 0.5mg alprazolam
T+ 5:20 - 3 cones
T+ 10:08 - 2 cones

I was ecstatic to find 2mg alprazolam stashed away in a drawer, months after I'd finished my box of Xanax (so I thought). The next day, Friday, I decided the time had come to enjoy what I like to think of as "The Holy Trinity": a combination of an opiate, a benzodiazepine and some marijuana. I had been enjoying poppy seed tea over the past week -- a new discovery of mine to replace my affinity for the weaker and more costly codeine. I had 500 grams of poppy seeds and I scored some weed at my former school at 2:30pm. I had all the ingredients to create my Holy Trinity... it had all fallen into place.

It begins. I went home and dropped 0.5mg Xanax, washing it down with grapefruit juice to increase the effect. I chopped some weed and smoked a cone. In a little while I began to feel a pleasant haze overcoming my senses and an energetic, lively feeling.

Some friends came around from school at about 3:00 to have a few bongs. I was in a much more jovial mood than usual this afternoon and I was inclined to joke around: I wrapped a bit of chocolate in foil and passed it to my friend, saying, "here man, chop this fat nugget of weed into the mix." We all had a good laugh about that when he unwrapped it. My friend Tom started talking about the topic of getting revenge on the Vice-principal, and for once, I wasn't so inhibited as to keep my immature contribution to myself. I suggested filling some condoms with condensed milk and scattering them around her office, or... nah, I got it -- taking a dump right on her desk. Awww!

"That'd put a tear in her eye," I remarked.
"It sure would," replied Tom.

The benzo haze had enveloped me and my vision was somewhat blurry. I felt a strong sense of contentment -- not euphoria, just a feeling of being completely comfortable in my surroundings, with such agreeable company. I began preparing my poppy seed tea and my friends left a little while later.

I lay down and closed my eyes, having smoked about four or five cones of good weed by then. I saw faintly-defined but very colourful hallucinations. All the muscles in my body were relaxed, including my jaw muscles which are often tense. I let the poppy tea steep for about an hour and a half. By the time it was ready, the Xanax high had peaked and tapered to a milder buzz.

At about 6:30pm I washed the foul concoction down with grapefruit juice so as to potentiate the morphine, and some creaming soda and smoked weed to kill the taste. I took another 0.5mg Xanax, washing it down with yet more grapefruit juice. For the next 20 minutes, my stomach was in extreme discomfort. The consolation, of course, was that it would go from bad to good, and it would keep getting better.

The first itch signified that the tea's effect was creeping up on me, and half an hour after taking it the stomach pain had completely disappeared. I felt a sense of extreme relaxation and I smoked more marijuana to augment this. I drew my mind away from any cares and concerns into more of a stuporous meditative state. When I would open my eyes a white glow would pervade my vision. My eyelids drooped in pleasure, reminiscent of a purring cat.

I went into a dreamy, soothed state adorned with hypnagogic imagery. My body felt like it was floating on air. The hallucinations I saw were of a different character to acid or mushroom trips; with open eyes I saw what I would usually see, except with a tinge of softness and vividness. The closed-eye hallucinations are best compared to the state of consciousness between waking and sleeping -- one both participates in them and indirectly perceives them, like in a dream experience, but to a lesser extent.

The problem is that it's hard to describe the specifics of the experience because they escape one's memory afterwards. For the next four hours, I was as high as a kite, sadly falling asleep for some of the high. I awoke at about 12:50am and the Xanax had pretty much worn off. I was very itchy and still euphoric from the tea, so I smoked the last of my weed, about two cones, and drifted back into a delectable stupor.

I hope this report may somewhat elucidate the hallucinogenic aspect of opiates, benzodiazepines, marijuana and combinations thereof, for fellow aficionados of what I like to call The Holy Trinity and anyone else who may be interested.

I really enjoyed reading this report. I have had very pleasurable effects from Poppy seed tea. I actually want to try the same combination that you have reported here.

hehe The Holy Trinity - excellent name. :)

A great report indeed. Unfortunatly I cannot partake in this combo myself because the sickness I get from opiates. :(

Thanks guys.

You could substitute any benzo or opiate really, I've done Valium + codeine + weed and Xanax + codeine + weed too, and they were both really sweet (made me trip my nuts off =D); the great thing is you don't need a really hardcore opiate.

I found out that grapefruit juice doesn't really do much for Xanax, but it seems to work with the tea and supposedly gives a big kick to triazolam (Halcion) and midazolam (Versed) and a smaller kick to a Valium buzz.

Rock on...

I can attest to this some of my factorites are: (opium + alcohol + pot + rohypnol) or (opium + alcohol + pot + valium) or (opium + alcohol +pot + clonazapam) or (opium + alcohol + pot + speed + rohypnol) yum they mix sooo well

sounds like you had a realy nice time :0 I don't smoke much pot myself but I could see all three being a very mellow, relaxing combo.

Do you find that poppy seed tea is a very manageble high? I found I could function if I wanted to, but also if I wanted to zone out all I would have to do is sit down and relax:)

haha, It depends realy. The first time I tried it I used 500 grams and it absolutly FUCKED ME UP. I was a complete mess and could hardly walk or talk. However at lower doses, yes its very managable. I find morphine (major active in poppy seed) to be very clean, especialy in comparison to codiene etc

lol yeah I could see how 500g could be a bit too much.
I also found it terribly clean compared to codiene as well.
I am still amazed at the feeling I got from it, it has definately changed my way of thinking :)
