In NY, you actually get another charge if they find something on you when they bring you in to jail. I know someone who was arrested for heroin possession, and he told the police that he still had some more under his sack, but they didn't get it at the time. When he was being booked, they found it and charged him with an additional charge of possession but it had another name attached to the charge.

Anyway, like I said, cocaine is surprisingly potent orally. If it can stimulate at 4.2mg imagine what it would feel like to eat an ounce (even if it was only 25% pure!).

I think you've answered your own question. Due to purity, the following numbers are exaggerated but for comparison purposes: The perp's brother swallowed ~28,350mg (1 ounce) of blow and it's active at 1.41% (4.2mg) of that amount. That's a drug mule range OD (a packet typically contains approximately 3,000-15,000mg of cocaine[1]), which, simply cannot be controlled with medical management[2].

Regretfully and irresponsibly, I've managed to OD on 1/8th (8 ball or 3,500mg) of the amount (and I'm afraid no, I didn't do it all in one sitting) swallowed by the victim back in 2005 and even after I was considered stable and pumped full of diazepam, ASA and cooled saline I still had a low grade fever, my BP was 170/115 and my HR was ~160+.

Probably not though, as the acute toxicity of levamisol is much lower than that of cocaine HCl (he certainly didn't die of an opportunistic infection following agranulocytosis!) and the presence and quantity of other impurities can only be guessed. Also converting cocaine into crack shouldn't introduce any adulterants other than sodium bicarbonate, unless you live in South America and smoke basuco or "bazooka" where the cocaine is based with neurotoxic manganese carbonate that causes parkinsonism. Actually the levamisole greatly increases toxicity of all kinds, especially cardio toxicity. Strong uncut shit with a good amount of levamicrap will make you heart pound irregularly with less actual coke.
