Police Brutality Thread

Looks about the same to me.

A bit selective with your quoting there, eh?

Trump gave a long speech in which he clearly said he wanted a peaceful protest. Waters comment isn't anywhere near as ambiguous as Trump using the word fight in one sentence during a long speech.

"We got to stay on the street. And we've got to get more active, we've got to get more confrontational. We've got to make sure that they know that we mean business"

It's not ambiguous at all.

Yes, they should be held to two standards.
1. The law. If they commit a (significant) crime they should be barred from office.
2. The will of the people. This is the standard politicians are held to in democracies.

So the same standard as the president, who was impeached for inciting violence.

I was selective with both quotes. Waters gave an interview shortly after she made those comments making it unequivocally clear she was not endorsing violence.

Well, yeah, sure. Go ahead and call for an impeachment if you want. I don't see the point. Big waste of time and money and all it does is piss people off. Trump was acquitted. Waters would be acquitted. It's not a clear enough call to violence to meet any legal bar in either case. But, hey, like Gerald Ford said. An impeachable offense is anything congress says it is.

Before so got killed his biggest wish was to complete "all the drugs quest" (otherthan, to live a normal life). Now I'm stuck completing that on my own.

White people are statistically more likely to be killed by police, as I've already established.

You talk a big talk. I don't believe you.
You are obviously not from here or oblivious if you think any person, even black. Interfering would have been killed in the same matter. Eould make it even worse for the cops.

I personally wouldn't intervene in any way if I witnessed Chauvin kneeling on Floyd's neck. I wouldn't standby and watch either. I'd turn around and get the fuck out of there. There's no way for bystanders to know what the circumstances are. He could be a child rapist for all I know. Maybe not caring makes me a coward. Then again, perhaps it's understandable that my daughter having a father is more important to me than putting my life on the line for some random criminal.

Even if he is a child rapist, sure, I want him dead, but doesn't mean I'm going to watch police kill a subdued individual who is no longer moving.

With my personal experience, I give criminals the benefit of the doubt sooner than I do police and newly always have, if not exasperated by current circumstance.

If I had a kid, I might be less likely to intervene.but as a single individual with barely anything to lose other than my personal life? Its hard. Even in riots that aren't going to save anyone.

And in a way, yes it does make you a coward. But its excusable for your daughter. If your daughter got raped by cops, would you still be posting in this thread?

I don't believe numerous things you have said throughout this thread.

If you are indeed foolish enough to dropkick a police officer during an arrest, you deserve what is coming to you. I don't understand how people don't get it. Don't fuck with the police. That applies to Floyd and it applies to you.

Talking hypotheticals: if Floyd just got into the fucking car in the first place, he might still be alive.

Well, I have no desire to be anything but transparent especially on blueligjt. Its all very real, and very personal. And id drop kick Chauvin a million times over and if I ever see it I pity myself as ill likely end up in more trouble than I'm prepared for. I'm blessed I haven't already.

What the same cops involved in Floyd's arrest?

Let me ask you this, if your daughter got raped by a couple of Black guys would you still be posting in this thread?

I don't write off groups of people because of individual action.

Why would I make any of that up? Its all verifiable thru public record. Feel free to PM if you need any details

If my daughter got raped by a bunch of black cops, yes, id still be posting in threads like this though probably even a bit more convinced that it has less to do with race and more to do with sociopaths attracted to positions of authority.

i re evaluated. i think i would have called the police. on chauvin.
xD. Best option would be have a friend start recording, then drop kick him. Calling the cops on the cops doesn't work trust me, I've tried. Just gets you in more hot water. Video evidence is another ballgame, as hopefully we will see from this trial.

How often do you think male uniformed police officers rape men?
Probably 1/10,000 (if not 100k at least) at least :( makes me even more unsure of WHY it happened, which has plagued me since it did. Compunded by the fact that I've been sexually assaulted multiple times notnalways by police. I can't say. I really fucking can't. Maybe I'm not as aware of other male victims as is the reality, I can only hope that's the case, but other than thar.. idk. That makes me feel like they will kill me soon.

1/10,000 police encounters result in multiple officers sodomizing a male suspect on the side of the road?

Yeah... I don't think so.
Well then idk you are making it even worse. 1/10,000? 1/1,000,000? I doubt I'm that unlucky. Wtf did I do? Why would that happen to me? There's a few things they said during the assault that give some hints, but nothing concrete, and I've never done anything to actually deserve that. Tho some might. Sure, me, that ansrchist says, okay maybe there shouldn't be police. But if they are, a few guys deserve do be raped by them. But not me. Why???

I'm such a conspiracy theorist I've thought, do they need people like me to sound like delusional/liars for whatever agenda goes over my head? But it's true man, it happened.
